POG's machine-readable interfaces do not expose account profiles for users under 18. This page describes that behavior. It does not replace the Terms of Use or Privacy Policy.
POG accounts for users under 18 are protected accounts. This includes parent-controlled accounts for users ages 13 through 17 and younger child accounts supported by POG's guardian architecture.
Protected accounts are not eligible for machine-readable Athlete profiles. POG does not publish canonical Athlete HTML, Markdown profiles, structured profile data, crawler-oriented profile indexes, or sitemap entries for users under 18.
A parent, guardian, coach, administrator, public profile setting, public team membership, or public statistics setting does not make a protected account machine-readable.
POG may publish limited contextual sports records when the applicable sports-record policy allows them. These may include facts such as a display name, jersey number, position, team, season, or published competition statistic. A public sports record is not a public account profile.
Public sports records do not include account identifiers, usernames, profile links, dates of birth, email addresses, phone numbers, guardian relationships, account avatars, or other protected account information.
POG does not permit automated systems to collect, store, profile, train on, fine-tune on, embed, redistribute, sell, or license protected child account data, or to use contextual sports records to reconstruct a protected child account profile.
Read POG's community safety standards and parent oversight guidance.
